It was finally a relief to find an Acupuncturist that is a true Acupuncturist …..Not a health spa that wants to do acupuncture ….It was also nice to know that Lisa works with one of the renowned Pain centers in the area …her two new locations the Sajak Pavilion suit 150 and her new office at 43 Solomons Island Rd Suit 201 are both every convenient locations. I have had pain for longer then I want to remember …on and off the pills for years …I have been going to Lisa now for two years and it is the first time in a long time, I can say the pain is livable ..And from what the other patients in the waiting room are saying she has help hundreds live with their pain …..We are all not sure of this acupuncture, but I a true believer NOW!!! more

  • Acupuncture is a form of traditional Chinese medicine that is quickly gaining acceptance in Western culture for its proven ability to treat emotional and physical problems without the side effects associated with other forms of medication.


    Apart from physical injury, pain and other ailments are often symptoms of an underlying imbalance. At the Center for Acupuncture and Wellness, our goal is to get to the root of that imbalance and correct it so our patients can avoid future recurrences and are healthier in general.

    The Center for Acupuncture and Wellness is owned and operated by Lisa Kelly RN, BSN, M.Ac, L.Ac. Involved in Western Medicine as a Registered Nurse since 1987, Lisa combines her experience in Western Medicine with her practice of Acupuncture. Lisa received her Master's in Acupuncture from Tai Sophia Institute of the Healing Arts and is licensed by the State of Maryland Lisa has a strong belief in three value of integrated medicine. She feels that a combination of Traditional Oriental medicine and Western medicine will provide her patients the opportunity to be active participants on their path to well-being and optimal health.
