Nice little family run restaurant with some of the friendliest service I've had in a long time. The food was very good and the iced tea was tasty. more

I love the Nook - I call when I am leaving work to place and order and can pick-it up at the window - always ready, always excellent. I have never had a bad meal, breakfast, lunch or dinner. I don't know what these people are talking about when they say eggs were overdone - never in my experience and I eat there as a regular.\r Atmosphere - it is great, comfy, friendly, clean and wholesome, and friendly staff; yes sometimes you have to wait - that's because the word is out that it is consistently awesome. I'll wait my turn for great food any day rather than a walk right in place without quality. more

I have lived in Jupiter for almost a year now and I just recently learned about this place. This place is absolutely amazing. I go to eat lunch there all the time (top 5 lunch place) and I am never disappointed. One of my favorites is the Five-O burger. It is delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good food and great, friendly service.\r \r -Mike more

Great food, great service. Don't listen to wishy washy reviews, it's flat out good. If you want to eat breakfast at the Breakers, go to the Breakers and shut the hell up. more

I had heard all the hype and wanted to try for myself. Their food is good, but the hype is really just that. Great for B/fast or lunch but no real atmosphere, and nothing I would call outstanding. more

The Nook. I visited Jupiter in April 2012 and thought I would skip the free hotel breakfast and try out a local place. I did this on the first day I was in town, for the rest of the week I ate at The Nook. Every morning. If I needed to wait for a table, it was worth it. I sat at the counter or booth or anyplace they could fit me. \r \r First, the atmosphere. It is a small space. A few booths against one wall, tables in the middle and counter you can sit at. They turn over pretty quick. The wall decor, knick knacks and signs are amusing and well placed. The place is clean, well maintained and they represent their Philadelphia teams.\r \r The Staff. It's a family/friend run shop. Mother, Kids, her friends. They are talkative, pleasant, welcoming and have positive attitudes. If you don't have a positive attitude, leave the bad one at the door. I can't say enough about the people who work there, by the second day they knew us. Always smiling and a pleasure. Coffee cup was never left empty, they checked in on food, extras, etc and are reason enough to visit.\r \r The Food. Wow. Blackened Shrimp and Cheese Grits. Phenomenal. The grits were perfect, the shrimp large and not overcooked, the bacon gravy didn't have a fatty feel. Big Heap. This was my favorite. Potato's, eggs, bacon, sausage gravy - was a breakfast that had me skip lunch. Filling and perfect. The Billdozer - huge pancakes, eggs, bacon - all cooked perfect. I tried the Boss Hog burger, the Pizza (if you go in the afternoon, their pizza is excellent!), The Mahi Mahi Rueben. They had a cheeseburger soup special one day they put over an omelet for me, was also excellent. They had good coffee and offered Mimosa's and a few other drinks if you wanted. When i sat at the counter one morning, I was able to look into their kitchen. I worked line cook for a few years, The Nook has it down to a science. The crew in the back are just as hard working and fluid as the crew out front.\r \r I can honestly say that in my 35+ years of visiting Florida, this is BY FAR my favorite place I've ever had breakfast. The atmosphere, people and food were something I will go back time and again anytime I am within an hour of Jupiter! more

am very disappointed in them letting my daughter go who had worked there since the original owners ( 4yrs) and she was only given a couple of shifts and they took them away from a hard working, beautiful, sweet loving and caring person that has a family to help support and gave her two measly shifts to the owners teen-aged girls who don't have a family and big bills to pay.... money hungry people who put dollar signs in front of good people who need and deserve it more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 10/1/2011

I had the shrimp and grits, my husband had the heap, both of us brought half our meal home. Excellent food. Portions out of this world. We were looking for somewhere that had a little bit better than standard fare. This place was perfect. \r Doesn't hurt that they are from Phildadelphia. Hubby's home town. Service excellent, we will be back. Can even take Vegetarian daughter there. more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 9/3/2011

Absolutely the most delicious eggs benedict dish I have ever eaten. The eggs were done to perfection, the seafood was tender and plentiful and the sauce was creamy and in perfect proportion to the rest of the dish. If you like seafood and eggs you can't go wrong with this dish. more

Best breakfast ever! Great home made food, the whole extended family is there and making it a fun time. You better order panky-doos, not pancakes. Been there 30+ times, awesome crab omlettes, benedicts, real phillys. more

Forgot to mention in previous review - the food is slightly too salty and for a breakfast joint they should provide real cream for the coffee. more
