My Dr. sent me to the Center for Stress and Pain Mgmt several years ago for deep tissue massage following a cervical fusion. I wasn't sure what to expect. I was a little nervous and uncomfortable. Maria put me right at ease. She treats me for joint pain, fibroymyalgia, etc. The massages have really made a difference in my daily activities. They keep me moving...and in the right direction!! This is not a fancy spa...just great service. The staff is well trained, professional and are anxious for their patients to benefit from their treatments. more

This is not one of those "crystal healing" places that are such a turn off to many of us. You won't get any esoteric mumbo jumbo about spirituality, auras, chakras, zodiac signs, etc. Just the basics: a good massage, whether it's for relaxation or for gnarly or incapacitated muscles. Chuck is my favorite there - he is my 'go-to' guy when I get STOVE UP... I've heard the others are just as competent. They are all well trained with years of experience (VERY IMPORTANT, trust me). The atmosphere is casual... nothing stuffy or smug or "out there in la-la land". They've been around for many years, don't waste your time on the plethora of newbies just graduating from second rate schools cropping up all over the place! Prices are very reasonable...
