His knowledge is outstanding, his willingness to experiment *with* the patient (instead of *on* the patient) is gratifying, and he's more available than any psychiatrist I've used. The fact that after I had a severe side effect, I arrived in his office to find him holding forms to report it to the FDA is really comforting. I'm a treatment-refractory bipolar and we've just moved patiently through all kinds of options until finally, six years into treatment, we seem to have hit an effective mix. I'm grateful to have found him.
