We went to the Centaur before a Tiger's game--there was a decent crowd, but not packed. Food was excellent, but the bartender was rude and could not handle the ""crowd"". Let me preface this by saying I vowed I would never return here due to an ugly incident with a bartender here about 2 years ago. It was so awful we found the manager to complain (which I never do!). Well, lo and behold, the same bartender was still working here. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but when he was rinsing a glass right in front of me I said ""excuse me, can I please get another beer when you have a chance""--he looked at me and said ""hey, you just don't shout out your order--is this the first time you've been in a bar?"". He then took another 10 minutes before he returned to take our order (this is after we had been sitting without drinks for about 10 minutes before my rude request! Even the group of guys sitting next to us commmented how rude he was, and then they had to wait about 10 more minutes before he got their order. Once he took my order, it only took him about 5 more minutes to get our beers...The food, however, was OUTSTANDING!!! But beware the bartender with the ponytail!! There are plenty of other bars in the area where you can get great food and much better service AND attitude!!!
Pros: Great location, excellent food
Cons: The rude bartender
