Best Date Spot 6/30/2010

I've been to every wine bar in the City and I now have a new favorite. Cellar 58 is such a cute, quaint place. The wine selection is incredible and it didn't break my paycheck. We tried a Chilean bottle with our Chilean seabass. I felt like I was on the Chilean coast because it was that good. I highly recommend this place. Pros: Chilean Seabass & Wine Selection more

Wine Lovers 6/30/2010

I went here with my girlfriends last week and I absolutely loved this place. Cellar 58 is charming, warm, inviting. I'm surprised more people haven't heard of this place. It's one of those rare East Village wine bars that makes you feel like are in another country. The cheese platters are a must try, along with the octopus, which is not on the menu. Pros: Affordable Wine from around the World Cons: not really anything bad more

Who knew you could find a wine bar in NYC that was affordable. Cellar 58 has affordable wines from around the world. It's in a great East Village location and the cheese platters are to die for. I highly, highly recommend this place!! Pros: You can order wine from any region of the world Cons: Cons? Maybe that it's sometimes too packed.. more

Love this place more than anyplace in the city! 12/26/2009

I can not say enough about this place. To keep it short, it is the best place in NYC. The wine selection, food, music, staff and ambiance are all top notch at an affordable price. If I could I would go there ever day! Pros: everything! more
