Celestino's Pasta & Pizza

There pizza slices are huge and taste great. I do recommend going to the one downtown they have a bigger variety sense that is there main location. The price isn't bad at all. I would recommend the Tom Jones it has a variety of meats and is very filling. more

The pizza and pastas at Celestinos on East Avenue are consistently good--actually, better than good. The crust is thin and crispy and the sauce is rich and flavorful. Their pasta dishes are authentically Italian and the sauces are really good. Even their calamari appetizer is fried just right, so it is really tender. It is a great place for a casual bite if you want a quick bite and zero atmosphere. The place is a real hole in the wall. It is a shame that the ladies at the register are not more friendly, especially the tall brunette that is there is the late afternoons. Very rude!.. She makes you feel like you are imposing on her time to walk in and place an order. She makes what could be a pleasant meal feel awkward and shortens the amount of tips her coworkers could get. more

Ever since they opend they made the best ever egg plant sandwiches you could get anywhere. Just had one today and it leaves alot to be desired because, they have changed the rolls. The flavor is not there and the filling is skimpy, raise the price but, keep quality the same. Guest from out of town always raved about the sandwich, I no longer will recommed it as long as they continue to use the new rolls. Pros: WAS the best ever Cons: They changed the rolls more

celestino's pizza slices are really large, and a really good deal! if you don't like greasy pizza though, i wouldn't recommend this place. it takes about 10 napkins to soak up all the grease on one piece of pizza! but once you get it all off, it's delicious :) more

Celestino's is my favorite cheese pizza in the whole world! Whenever I come back to Chico I eat here. The pastas are pretty good and the service can be pretty bad, but I don't care because the cheese(steer clear of the weird tasting pepperoni) pizza is so good!
