Celebrity Kennels

Great place, great prices, great care. I am extremely picky about where I board my dogs as they are the light of my life. Both my dogs were in a huge kennel together. They even put them in a seperate side all by themselves because I had never boarded them together before and was nervous how they would react. I picked them up the next day and they seemed like they didn't even know I had left them. If I ever am I need to board my dogs in Fairburn I will 100% take them to Celebrity Kennels. Reggie was awesome. more

I have left my 2 dogs (pitbulls) with Celebrity Kennels several times and the staff is excellent. My dogs comeback happy and the staff has no problems handling or accepting my dogs. Great establishment. I'm about to book some more time for this upcoming holiday season. Pros: null Cons: null more

Our miniature schnauzer is 15 years old so we hate leaving him in any kennel however, sometimes we travel and cannot take him with us. We discovered Celebrity and the wonderful staff and now leave him in good hands knowing he is loved and well taken care of. He is sometimes a grouchy old man but these folks understand his temperament and act accordingly. We still worry about him but only because he is old not because of where we leave him. more

I have been using Celebrity for over 10 years with three dogs so far. I had some very spotty experiences before finding them, I had learned that the DEA and Immigration board their working dogs here as well. Hearing that sort of tipped the scale into giving them a try. Reggie is great, I deal mainly with him, never had a lick of problems except for when one of my dogs did not want to get his nails clipped and decided to act up. He still got his nails clipped though. I almost always have them bathed before I pick up, rates are great and they never never come home with fleas. I don't know how they do that as every other kennel is a flea motel but not this one. We drive a little over half an hour to board our dogs here and would not change a thing, its in the country, clean air, great friendly staff and reasonable rates. The best kennel I have ever done business with. more

We have a large dog that has had some social issues. He was a rescue, and came with baggage. We didn't know if we would ever be able to board him. He stayed at another kennel, and one of the staff did not give us a good report. We tried Celebrity the next boarding, and spent time explaining Jude and his antisocial behavior...they were wonderful!! Jude bonded w/ all the staff, but especially Reggie. The staff never changes, so we don't worry about having to explain each time we board Jude. From visit to visit they remember Jude by name. We drive from Douglasville to get to Celebrity, but it is well worth it. I wish they had Sunday afternoon pick up times, but that is a minor complaint. We love Celebrity Kennels, and so does Jude. more

We have been using Celebrity Kennels since 1993 (when Fairburn was in the countryside) and have now boarded a total of four dogs-sometimes three in a kennel!\r \r The staff are friendly, helpful, and above all love the dogs and so obviously care for them deeply. The rates are reasonable, the dog runs are larger than the average, and each time our pets come home from there they seem to have enjoyed the experience. I have had no hesitation in recommending Celebrity, and now my neighbor uses their services. more

I am a very picky pet owner and visited four kennels in the area before finding Celebrity Kennels. It is about 30 minutes from our house, but well worth the drive. We have an active lab who I did not want to put in a cage all day while we are gone. I love the space at Celebrity and also the staff; very friendly and professional. Since finding it six years ago, we have moved even farther away, but we will still use them because of the service we get from them, and how excited our dog gets when we pull in the driveway. One more thing: I used to work in a boarding kennel in high school and have very high expectations for what they should be. This kennel met and exceeded my expectations. We love it! more

I have used celebrity kennels for more than ten years. There has been no change in staff since my start. The setting is a barn in the exurbs of Atlanta but 15 minutes from the airport. The owner lives on sight. Each dog has a pen that is a run that is approximately thirty to forty feet long. Half of the run is indoors and the other half outdoors. They let me check to see where Missy will be. There is also plenty of yard where my dog gets exercised daily. They will use their food or my food, whatever is my preference. During holidays, you may wish to get a reservation. The best book up early. more
