Cedar Dale Pet Resort

Kudos to Cedar Dale! We were referred there by a local resort we stayed at and we boarded our 3 babies there for 8 days. Once we walked through their door we knew this place was going to be awesome. The first thing that we noticed was the very welcoming staff and the smell of cleanliness. Our dogs went to them like they were long lost friends! It made us feel so comfortable to leave them there. When we picked up the dogs, they were freshly bathed, fluffy and happy to see us, but I'm convinced that they didn't want to leave! Cedar Dale is the bomb and our dogs will DEFINITELY be back to stay there again! more

My 2 dogs just recieved the WORST hair cut ever. I have 2 Yorkies and they just came home shaved down looking like rats. Im very disgusted with you lack of ability to cut there are clipper lines left in their faces (which you also shaved to nothing after i requested you leave their beards) I WILL NEVER BRING MY DOGS BACK. Pet Co does a far nicer job. Ps Last i checked toe nail clipping was part of grooming. more

I have tried many kennels throughout my 39 years with my dogs. Cedar Dale Pet Resort has won over my trust and respect for my babies because of many important factors one must have when entrusting our family members to their care. TRUST, CLEANLINESS, KIND & PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES, A VARIETY OF PET CARE OPTIONS, AIR CONDITIONED, SAFE, FENCED IN AREAS,ONE ON ONE ATTENTION, SERVES INDIVIDUAL NEEDS OF CLIENTS, GREAT COMMUNICATION, VARIETY OF DROP OFF/PICK UP TIMES, EXCELLANT GROOMING DAYCARE, .I could go on & on!!! The name really serves what your gonna get while you entrust your pet to them! RESORT! A high quality one at that! You will never find a cleaner place or a more friendly staff I travel from Racine for their services and have already booked 2 more stays! My Nellie is just a puppy at 5 months and had her first stay recantlly.Willie is 9 but also had his first stay. Nellie did wonderful and Willie seemed to enjoy himself! They both smelled so good when we picked them up and I only chose for Willie to be groomed! Thats how clean they are there! They have the cutest toys up front to chose from up front as well! I drive 45 minutes to get the services I could never truly find for them! If your looking for your home away from home for them, a trusted friend to dog sit for your beloved one, a vacation for your dogs, trust and all the values you want upheld for your dogs, look no further, THIS IS IT! Looking forward to many trips to come. Another added bonus, they are on facebook! Follow them! You may even find a picture of your babies while your away posted up like I did! Made me feel so safe while I was away and they were glad to always call me back or communicate with me on their well beings along the way! Cant recommend them enough! I have been taking Sadie to Cedar Dale now for 5 years. The staff are very professional and caring. No matter if its for a grooming, a short or extended stay I have been very satisfied with the care and attention they give her. She is always very happy to be there which shows me how well they take care of her. She races to the back when staying over, doesn't give me a kiss goodbye...Lol But as you can see I'm very happy with the folks at Cedar Dale. more

LOVE Cedar Dale! My Pekingese, Darby, goes right in to stay at the kennel and never acts apprehensive about going off with the employees. She has stayed there several times now. I love that she can join the doggie daycare while she is there so she isn't just in her enclosure the whole time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone in the area! more

I have been taking my husky to Cedar Dale for the past 10 months for both day care and boarding. Over the past 2 months I have lost confidence in this facility and refuse to take my dog back. Six weeks ago when I picked up my dog I was told he ate a soft toy, he was very sick the following week as he tried to expel it. Last week my dog was acting odd, and stopped eating. I took him to the vet and $1,300 later found he had injested a squeaker that was lodged in his bowel causing a major obstruction. When I confronted the owner he insisted that this would never happen at Cedar Dale and while they routinely provide toys to dogs during day care they would be able to know if a dog ate one of the toys. I owe it to my dog to keep him away from places where he has a good chance of hurting himself. Until Cedar Dale stops providing toys to dogs (when their owners have even told them not to give them soft toys) I will not take my dog here. more
