The administration is almost criminally incompetent. They can't communicate with my insurance company or my pharmacy. Every time I want to get a prescription renewed, my pharmacy can't get in touch with them and I have to call them myself. I was told that they took my insurance, but for months, I got bills. Turns out they had never contacted my insurance company after I asked them to. I made hours of phone calls just to establish that. Once, my pharmacy tried to contact them for two weeks with no response. When I called the doctor's office, they lied and said that they had never heard from the pharmacy, and that a different doctor was supposed to be prescribing me my medication (also not true.) Don't depend on these people to get you the meds you need - they can't handle it. more

I have seen her over a period of 6-8 years as have a number of my friends. Dr. Yoon is a very careful clinician. Though I once thought she was rushed, I no longer think so - she takes time, is a good listener, and is a very clear thinker. Her nursing staff is excellent. more

Doctors are readily available. Dr Yoon spends good amount of time during examination and then in followup to explain test results. Office staff is pleasant, makes test appointments on the phone before I leave. Nurse practitioners are pleasant and take time with patients. Pros: Always seen within 5 minutes of arrival more

With several primary care physicians among my close friends and family members, I feel that my expectations regarding primary care are fairly reasonable. As a patient, I've never had any problems with any generalists or specialists that I've ever seen before. My advice regarding Dr. Serena Yoon and Cayuga Medical Associates would be to STAY FAR, FAR AWAY. Pros: Ginny the nurse, short wait times Cons: Uncaring and incompetent more

Doctor knowledgeable, no problems getting needed lab tests, office atomosphere a little cold but I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for scheduled appointment; staff never introduces who they are which I didn't find very professional Pros: Quick to see you, doctors seem very knowledgeable Cons: Staff does not introduce self, feel bothered giving information on lab/test results, one partner i would never see as a doctor...very rude more
