Overall, the experience was awful. Would definitely not hire again. Contracted for the removal of existing counters and installation of new granite counters. After two attempts, they delivered a cracked piece of granite for the sink area that they had apparently glue back together. When I pointed this out, they said it was a fissure. I had three experts analyze the cracks and all agreed that it was, indeed cracked. I had also reserved an additional piece of granite from the wholesalers so that the counter could be replaced. \r
I made several attempts to resolve the issue with Cava, but, at this point, I have had to engaged legal counsel. \r
The first time they were to install the counter, they delivered the incorrect edge profile, so everything had to go back to the shop to be re-cut. During the installation of the counter the second time, they severely damaged several areas of the new drywall wall and chipped part of the brick chimney out and broke several lower cabinet sides and rails and also destroyed two of the under counter lights. They refused to repair these.\r
Because of their negligence, the completion of the kitchen project had to be put on hold until the necessary installation of new counter and repairs can be made..
