great restaurant that should be way more popular 3/18/2008

The food is excellent, and the wait staff and dining room are warm and pleasant. I appreciate the chef accommodating my various allergies. My duck was prepared perfectly, with a crisp skin, no layer of fat, and juicy meat - a combination that rarely occurs. I don't know why this place isn't packed every night - it's only about two minutes off Route 28, the main route in this part of the Catskills. more

melt in your mouth 5/29/2005

The smoked duck is made by Peter and is melt in your mounth. Can't get this anywhere else. Delicious! We love this place. Great place to bring friends, the acoutics are wonderful, even with a large table we can all hear each other. The room is easy on the eyes.The food is the best reason . That I could go on about.
