Everyone is really friendly and do seem to know almost every dogs name that comes in. They took great care of our dog and she is pretty old at 14 so gets skittish at times. This is one of the oldest vet offices around and its nice to see it continues to operate with a small business attitude, great customer service (human and canine) and friendly neighbor style. more

Cortez Animal Hospital is the right choice for puppy-parents looking for a caring vet with a personal touch. Their puppy plan for puppy shots is very affordable and they have 2 vets on staff. I much prefer the woman vet over the male vet. The assistants are friendly, they learn your dog’s name and even follow-up after appointments. My husband and I have to 9-month old puppies and were nervous about bringing our female into be spayed, but the experience with Cortez Animal Hospital was great. She is healthy and loves to go back and visit. I shopped around before choosing a vet and you really can’t beat their prices, especially when you factor in how comfortable you feel visiting their office. They also have flexible hours that make it easy to accommodate a work schedule. more
