Cathay Pearl Rocks! 12/12/2008

Sorry to the person that had bad comments, but honestly, it doesn't sound like the restaurant at all, maybe you were having a bad day already. I enjoy the bar area, the entertainment is always fun whether it is a band or kareoke! (yea Silver fox!) Pros: The lounge for bands and Kareoke, Joe the bartender, fast service, crab rangoons, schzuan chicken wings, pool tables Cons: It's not a fancy restaurant, but they have pretty good food and cook to your asking. more

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! 11/17/2008

My girlfriend and I went to the Cathay Pearl, and could not believe how people eat there. The plates were covered in grime and grease, and the chicken smelled like it had gone bad, the greens inside of the egg-roll were brown and every piece of meat felt slimy and smelled like it had gone bad as well. When I brought this to the hostess's attention, she proceeded to open up the chicken finger with her bare hands and eat it. We have contacted the Board of Health, since we've both got sick from just a bite. Cons: YOU WILL GET SICK!!!! more

Best Chinese food with great music 1/12/2008

This is probably the best Chinese food I have eaten without going to one of those outrageously expensive places like P F Changs in Chicago and Las Vegas. I love the schezuan beef or chicken, the boneless spare ribs, and the Kung Pao Chicken. You can go on a weekend and watch a live band and eat a full meal or appetizers like the pupu platter. there is nothing like it. They have bands like Main Break, Under the Covers, and Witzend (my favorite). You can't go wrong here with anything. Recently remodeled the bathrooms. Pros: Spicy food is spicy. Everything is so flavorful Cons: Crab Rangoon. Its not my thing more
