Great place to watch a game or just have fun with friends. Good place to meet new people. Great drink specials, and good food. The staff is nice and courteous more

Perfect Perch 5/10/2005

In the heart of beautiful downtown Hegewisch is where you will find Steve's serving seafood in their banquet hall every Friday after 4:30 PM. Go here for excelent deep fried Lake Perch; crispy outside, tender and firm inside, but not greasy. Their homemade coleslaw, with a hint of pineapple, may be the best; not too sweet and tangy. Choose the potato pancakes, with a hint of onion, and your choice of sour cream or apple sauce, over the frozen fries or ""microwaved "" baked potato.
