To her credit, she spent time listening (initially), was thorough (initially), got one of my relatively simple problems resolved. However, my increasing pain, numbness and descreasing mobility problems? She dismissed as (and actually said) ""ALL IN MY HEAD"". Needless to say, I never went back to her again. Went to neurologist and other various specialty docs who eventually concluded what I was suspecting (because problems began following mechanical trauma) that I likely had 1-2 disc herniations. I was referred to to top notch pain doc. Have had 2 spinal and 1 inguinal nerve blocks so far with SIGNIFICANT improvement. Had I submitted to her dismissing my problems as all in my head, I would still be in horrible, at times excruciating pain, would not be able to start back to exercising, was fearing I would eventually have to stop driving because the car vibration severely exacerbated pain. If you KNOW your problem is simple, she is thorough, will suggest alternative medicines and will likely be helpful. If you EVEN SUSPECT your problem is more than straightforward, I would definitely start somewhere else.
Pros: If you KNOW your problem is likely fairly simple, wd be good
Cons: If you have a more complex problem, avoid
