First of all I'd just like to point out in regards to the last post that the owner of the pinhook location who is doing this is not affiliated at all with the location in Grand Coteau and neither is the restaurant. Despite what the Pinhook location would have you believe, the two restaurants are not one and the same. The only thing in common is the name. Aside from that I very much agree that the restaurant on Pinhook is forgettable. However the original location in Grand Coteau is without a doubt the best restaurant from the Arkansas border to New Orleans with a few possible exceptions in Baton Rouge. The food by Chef Tauzin and team is absolutely out of this world, with everything from Chilean Sea Bass to Prociutto Wrapped Lamb Tenderloin! The Wine Spectator award winning wine list is by far the best around and the servers are impeccable. There is no better place to be for dinner for a food and wine lover.
