I noticed a large open wound infection the size of a 50 cent piece on my cat's side due to a knot in his fur ripping off (he is getting older, and doesn't groom his long coat as well as he used to, and refuses to let me come near him with clippers, scissors, or even a brush. He's made it clear he'll fight to the death if I ever try). I first called The Cat Doctor. The receptionist seemed nearly as concerned as I was! But they didn't have an opening right away, so I opted for a clinic I had never been to that was right down the road, and had an opening almost immediately. Bad idea. I waited in a junky waiting room In a run down building for 40 minutes, while dogs filed past to get shots. I ended up walking out, knowing now that quality was worth the wait, and the extra $7 for the appt. I called the Cat Dr. back, and they got me in 45 minutes later. When I walked in, they greeted my cat by name, without the need for introductions, and sent me straight back to the room. The vet, Tara Kobl
