In a world of jerks and charlatans, it is a downright pleasure to tell you about Dr. Dan Casullo. I went to him back in 1972, as he was completing his extensive training in the renowned Periodontal-Prosthesis at the University of Pennsylvania Dental School. I needed extensive dental repairs and reconstruction, and he did it all. For weeks and weeks he worked on me. Finally the job was done. Today, nearly 40 years later, I still chew on some of his professional dental work! And I still go back to him -- at his convenient, spic-and-span center city office for cleanings and checkups. I just completed 18 months of not-so-good dentistry which included veneers that don't stay on, bridges that are over-worked and failing, etc. So, I came to Dr. Casullo for a second opinion concerning a recommendation that I have all my teeth extracted and replaced by implants. While I was in the chair, Dr. Casullo consulted with another dentist at Penn Dental School about the proper course of treatment. Since I have a complicated mouth, Dr. Casullo is going to develop a plan which will involve some orthodontics, crowns, no veneers, some implants and saving my good teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Casullo and his staff. The person who wrote the ""how horrible"" review probably walked into the Chinese restaurant down the street and mistook it for a dental office. more

Dr. Casullo and Dr. Perata are warm, friendly, and excellent at what they do. The other person who gave one star is living in an alternate reality. These are phenomenal dentists who will make that dreaded visit for cleanings something you, well, don't dread. No one loves going to the dentist, but this is as good as it gets. The practice is unique because Dr Casullo is trained in periodontal work as well as excellent restorative work. Crowns fitted perfectly and I've had many. Relaxing atmosphere, wonderful staff. Pros: painless excellent work more

never in my life have i seen a dentist as incompetent. had us waiting for over an hour for our appointments did not have a hygienest do the cleaning and left a mouth full of tarter. would i recommended him ? not hardly more

Dr. Hunter was fabulous. I was a new patient, and he did the cleaning, exam, etc. all himself. He was extremely gentle, explained everything, made some good recommendations, took the time to check what my insurance covered and what it didn't, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist in center city. I had to schedule a follow-up appointment, and his staff has been so great with getting back to me. It's just a very warm atmosphere there. Pros: great staff, clean office, great location more
