I needed a new roof on my house after some wind/hail damage, and had heard some horror stories about roofers my friends got quotes from. I looked for someone local who has been in business for a good long time and found Castle Roofing. Willie talked me through the process, answered all my questions and kept me in the loop on our schedule and any possible weather problems. My roof suffered hail damage in 2009 and I contacted Willie to come out and give an estimate. He explained exactly the how's and why's of roof repair, the selection of materials that he used and the reason he used them. Material drop off and repair started on time. After the job was finished we walked the roof so I could see exactly what was done. Drip edge was installed with screws, not nails, one piece lead roof jacks, and quality shingles. I called Castle Roofing after we had hail damage to our roof. Stan came over and carefully went over everything they would do and actually gave me a quote for the roof. I had talked with other roofers and no one would give me an up front quote - just wanted to know what insurance had paid me for the job. I felt very comfortable with all that Stan said they would do and also liked that they were local. He even suggested a roof color, which turned out to be beautiful. My husband and I just had a new roof, gutters, siding, and painting completed at our house. We decided to go with Stan @ Castle Roofing. Since we also wanted to replace our siding on the back of the house and repaint the entire house, Stan recommended his subcontractor, Antonio, for the siding. The roofing, gutters, and painting were great, but the siding installation is where the trouble started. Antonio and his guys were messy throwing their used water bottles all over our yard. They also left all the small pieces of old siding and nails all over our yard. There were discrepanies with the workmanship that had to be addressed like gaps in the siding. One of the big issues was a lack of responsibility when a curio shelf in my house fell off the wall and the items broke into pieces. Instead of being sympathetic, Antonio tried to tell me that I didn't install it properly - not very professional. Luckily, the roofing crew cleaned up after the siding guys. Two days later, my husband and I discovered that our deep freezer in the garage had been unplugged by the crew so they could use the outlet. If we hadn't gone into our freezer, we could have lost hundreds of dollars of food no thanks to Castle Roofing and their subs.
