There is absolutely no point in taking your children to this gym. They just heard kids in and collect your money. There is way to many kids for them to effectively coach them all....

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!\r \r The owner of this gym lacks the ability to have a mature and civilized conversation and will become very defensive at the drop of a hat. She does not have the appropriate skills to run a business nor does she know what it means to provide service to her paying customers. I was warned about her inappropriate and disrespectful behavior but thought I could avoid it. She provides a toxic environment for the parents making them feel very uncomfortable to enter the gym to watch their child practice. This is fair warning to all those looking for a gym for their child – no matter what skill level they are at. She treats everyone the same whether you are in the recreational program or a team member. It doesn't matter how good or nice the coaches are, the behavior of the owner truly affects the girls and creates a negative environment. There are a lot of great gyms in Colorado whose owners act and behave appropriately and ethically but this is not one of them. Please take my advice and make sure to do your research before ever contemplating taking your daughter to Castle Rock School of Gymnastics. \r more

All I can say is stay away from this gym!!!!\r \r The saying ""Tone from the Top"" really stands true when reviewing this place. It doesn't matter how good or nice the coaching staff and families are....the attitude of the owner shines through everything. The owner of this gym absolutely ruins the place. She is completely unprofessional and let's her irrational emotions make all the decisions regardless of how it impacts customers and most importantly...the gymnasts! If she has a problem with something...she will not work to resolve it with the adults...instead she takes it out on the young gymnasts! Nasty nasty place! \r \r There are so many good gyms in the Denver Metro area. I strongly recommend you look anyplace but here. more

So impressed with this gym. Coaches are the best. We moved from another gym to Castle Rock and couldn't be happier. The coaches are knowledgeable and correct mistakes your child is making. They are sweet and kind yet give your child the constructive criticism needed. Very organzied unlike where we came from. Staff is the BEST by far!!! more

Love this place. Definitely the place for your daughter (or son) to compete competitively. The coaches are top notch and they care about each and every one of the kids in there. A safe place is their top priority. more

We love this gym and the coaches! 11/2/2011

My daughter has been attending Castle Rock School of Gymnastics for almost 3 years. With the support of the coaches at this gym I have seen her confidence and self-esteem grow leaps and bounds. When she is struggling with issues with friends or tough time in school, coming to the gym is always guaranteed to make her smile and forget her problems. We consider the coaches here to be parents away from home, I never worry for a moment if she is good hands. If you have read any of the other reviews and have concerns, I would recommend you come to the gym and talk to some of the gymnasts, they are the best judge. It will be abundantly clear what an AMAZING gym this is after you speak with them! more

CRSG- Truly a fantastic facility! 5/27/2011

I was shocked to read some of these reviews about CRSG, so I wanted to share my experience about CRSG. It is truly is a wonderful facility with professional loving instructors! My children have attended here both in the Little Learners Preschool and/or Gymnastics classes for a 2 years. We have had the opportunity to have 5 instructors at varies times (due to switching our schedule around) who have done nothing but a terrific job with our children. We have observed every class from the viewing area provided. It has been such a thrill to see the children excel in different areas as the months go by. They are not at all pushed in any way, but are given the opportunity to move ahead if the teachers feel they are ready and the parents are in agreement. Try it out for yourself and you personally make the decision before reading some of these hard to believe comments!! more

Best Gymnastics School in Castle Rock 5/25/2011

Castle Rock School of Gymnastics cares about your children and you. That is why we have topnotch coaches and have been established in this same location since 2002. At times as with everyone we don't always see eye to eye and have found it necessary to suggest that a few families find a gym that better suits them. Especially when our security cameras prove that their claims are unsustantiated. Unfortunately, these same families find it necessary to spread lies about us on this site. We simply ask that you come see us for yourselves and find the truth, that we are a growing force in the gymnastics world, proven by 600 current happy students along with their parents. more

CRSG is a top notch gym 5/14/2011

My daughter was at another gym and we switched to CRSG a year ago because of the coaching and the facility. When we switched, we realized the the gym we had been at was not near the quality of CRSG. We tried out with four gyms and selected CRSG. They are a safe gym with competent coaches and security cameras, to ensure that everything that happens on the gym floor is on the up and up and can be reivewed by parents if questions or issues arrive. There are a lot of kids on the floor, but they move them from activiity to activity very smoothly. They are very hands on and strive to help the kids reach THEIR potential. We like the student coach ratio, which is better than other gyms. more

love it! 5/11/2011

My daughter loves this gym, the coaches, the owner...all of it! I am so happy we found castle rock school of Gymnastics. Please go in and try this gym, you will see what a positive experience it is for your child. Before you base your decision on a few bad reviews, please realize there are 600 children at this gym and only a few parents wrote these nasty comments. more

Don't waste your money!! 4/11/2011

There is absolutely no point in taking your children to this gym. They just heard kids in and collect your money. There is way to many kids for them to effectively coach them all. I watched my daughters week after week, and month after month doing the same thing. There was no assistance to fix their mistakes and help them move along. Basically no on watching! The true state of this gym lies when you watched the advanced kids. They are making errors that are easily fixable. There was a lot of talented girls in that club, but they need better coaches to take them to the next level. First, go and preview before you sign up! Then, find another place to spend your money. more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THIS GYM! 2/4/2011

We belonged to this gym for two years and had a good experience with the preschool program. It wasn't until our child had interactions with two of the team coaches did we have MAJOR issues. These issues included embarrasment, lack of concern for safety, humiliation, pressuring children to do tricks outside of their skill level without appropriate guidance, yelling at children, and zero respect for the children or the parents. When presenting these issues to the owner, we were stonewalled and the owner preceded to call our child (6 years old) a liar, even on actions that I and other parents witnessed. In fact, another parent who had seen what these coaches were doing called it ""sick behavior"". more

Worst gym possible 2/1/2011

We belonged to this gym for quite a while and found the ownership to be poor. They have no respect for the customers including the children. Some of their methods include belittling the children, and over crowded classes where safety is often overlooked. Beware if you attend this gym or are considering it. Especially be weary, they have a certain male coach who has serious temper issues more

Dangerous and Terrible Customer Service 11/10/2009

I took my daughter to a trial class and was appalled at the lack of supervision. She was left to try things on her own that she was not capable of doing. She fell on her neck, hurt her back, was crying and no one noticed. When I inquired about the lack of supervision the owner yelled at me and said the children could not get hurt in there and that she didn't want to hear what I had to say. Her level of disrespect was horrifying. I discourage anyone from trying this gym. It is understaffed and expensive compared to other gymnastics clubs. more

Poor Customer Service at Castle Rock School of Gymnastics 11/18/2008

I have never written a review of anything before but after my phone conversation with one of the owners, I feel compelled to do so in this situation. I had enrolled my son in a trial 'tumble tots' class at Castle Rock School of Gymnastics and as a means of saving time, paid the annual membership fee and class dues over the phone prior to taking the class (my mistake trying to save everyone a little time I guess). After taking the class (the free trial class), which was slightly disorganized and had too many children for one instructor to handle effectively, I decided that we would not continue in the class. I called the gym and spoke to Linda and asked her to issue me a refund of my fees and she refused. After being pushed, she stated she was willing to give me a credit for part of the money I had paid but that was the best she could do. After having to resort to telling her that I would have to challenge the charge with my credit card company, she finally issued a refund. The attitude that I received from her was among the worst I have experienced, which is saying alot in this day of poor customer service. I would definitely not recommend this gym to anyone, no matter the age or class because of the poor treatment I received. more
