I went to Castle Rock based on the two good reviews on this site. It was a HUGE mistake. The food was horrible. I got the halibut, and it tasted nothing like halibut. When the waiter brought my dish to the table, it smelled horrible, and tasted even worse. My husband ordered the rib eye...it had tons of fat, and was extremely undercooked. He ordered it medium rare, and it was very rare, and dry...which is hard to do, but they managed to do it. It definitely wasn't a $25 piece of meat. The only good thing about our meal was the pasta that my 2-year-old got, which tasted decent, and was only $5. \r

The restaurant itself was nice inside. It looked very upscale, but was deserted. We were the only ones in the restaurant, so much so that every word either one of my kids said seemed to echo. \r

We spent $80 on the worst meal I've ever had in a restaurant...that's $80 for just entrees and soda...no appetizer, no wine, no dessert. Definitely not worth the high price of the food!\r

Pros: The kids' food was decent.
Cons: The food was horrible.
