Keen disappointment 5/28/2010

overcrowded by day-trippers \r focused on restaurant not hotel business \r very bad & arrogant service \r mediocre food at horrendous prices \r no spa, pool or sport facilities \r no area exclusively for hotel guest (i.e. in the garden) \r obsolete heating & air condition in the hotel rooms in the Inn \r rooms are badly soundproofed \r grossly overpriced \r \r I felt messed around to paid USD 429 ++ (off-season) for such a bad experience. \r \r If you are looking for a romantic getaway, this might not be the right place. \r Pros: location Cons: overpriced/bad service more

Great service 7/28/2008

Amazing service!! Wes is the best! He got the chef to make me the tomatoe/avocado/pignola nut soup without the seafood!! He also tracked down aspirin for my headache. The host was ridiculously accommodating too. The smores souffle wasn't that great though. Very fancy restaurant, everything is prix fixe. If you're going to go, definitely go while it's still light out so you can have a drink outside in the nice chairs on the lawn. more

If there is one spot on this earth where you can achieve limitless euphoria look no further then Castle Hill. Castle Hill is in very much a fourth dimension...if you happen to be lucky enough to arrive at the moment of truth which happens when the big dipper and Saturn are nearly perfectly in line and the crest of sun is being swallowed by the depths of the Atlantic ocean say Amen cause you won?t be forgetting this day anytime soon my good friend. I highly suggest you track down one of those uniformed staff members hustling around with trays filled with alcoholic drinks. I also highly recommend you find your self a drink and dig out your camera because the show is about to begin and you don't want to miss a flash... I personally enjoy starting out my evenings at castle hill with a top shelf margarita on the rocks with salt with premium tequila such as Don Julio or Patron for added delight of course. Once you have begun sipping on your drink please do listen to the roaring of nearby outboard motors of the speedboats showing off as they wake across your wide range vision. Try your best not look at the milky orange sun as it effortlessly demands your undivided attention...UV rays aren't good kids and neither is underage drinking so don't get caught looking or sipping kiddies- Castle Hill is a mature experience only for those ready to enlighten their minds and bask in the glory of their forefathers and sisters and brothers and aunts...I give Castle Hill the highest rating possible 5 STARS because it deserves every star I can see from Adirondack chair as I recline ever so peacefully and let the nostalgic overload take me away to the hole in the donut we like to call Bliss. Pros: It's Perfect Cons: I would be lying if I said it wasn't flawless more
