I have always been leary of chiropractors. That being said... read carefully the following message.... Dr. Cassara has been a God Send to me for my back problems. He has a state of the art machine, much like traction but better and less painful, that with consistency on your part.. can become your saviour for the back. The procedure is nonevasive and very tolerable. He never rushes into it and always does a full exam, including checking MRI results, etc. before making any decisions. He is a firm believer that you know your own body.. if you don't think it will help.. he won't do it. The procedure begins with relaxing the muscles with a heating pad. Once you are relaxed you lay on the table with a computerized hook up that pulls and releases, gently, the back and/or neck area depending upon your problem. After you have done the decompression therapy you go in with the doctor for light massage and manipulation. I personally do NOT like or allow anyone to jerk my body around and he was completely agreeable with this procedure as he doesn't believe in cracking and whipping the body. Not only is the doctor amazing, very personable and willing to take the time with you but his staff is top notch. It took over 20 decompression therapy visits before I was close to being 'cured' but I felt instant relief the first time!!!! I am a candidate for major back/neuro surgery so this a huge triumph for me! I would recommend this procedure to anyone with back or neck pain! Dr. Cassara's office is the best!
