Love this Stable! 4/3/2012

The riding instructors and owners of Cash Lovell Stables are some of the hardest working people I've ever met in my life! They are wonderful role models and great teachers. We are so lucky to have a world class facility like this in Winston Salem. My daughter loves it and this barn has helped her overcome her shyness in school. She has learned to take control of a 1,000 pound animal and it has built up her confidence tremendously. Cash Lovell Stables is the best! more

Great place for kids! 4/2/2012

Cash Lovell Stables, in short, is a wonderful place for children to learn horseback riding as well as learn important life skills like teamwork, confidence, and responsibility. My two daughters, ages 8 and 10 have been riding at Cash Lovell for 3 years. When my daughters mentioned that they wanted to ride a horse, my husband and I asked many friends which barn is the best - great instructors, safety, and a family atmosphere. Our friends recommended Cash Lovell. We started with a free lesson and that is all that it took - it was love at first ride! The instructors make certain that the kids are safe, and beyond learning to ride, they learn to care for the horses. And the barn has a range of riders from those who want to casually ride once a week to those who wish to compete in Nationals or Worlds. And the Lovell Lit Bits Youth Club has great activities that include supporting charities. The instructors, staff, as well as the students and their families become a second family. We could not be more pleased in choosing CLS! more

Great First Time Experience... 4/1/2012

Our family has had a great experience at Cash Lovell Stables. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the instructors are very knowledgable. The owner, Parker, is always wonderful with our girls. I would highly recommend CLS. more

Our family has operated Cash Lovell Stables for three generations. We work seven days a week to create a warm, family-friendly barn where people can experience the magic of horses. The Cash Lovell staff shares a commitment to safety, honesty, integrity and a love of children and horses. Our goal is to help our riders realize their horse-related dreams. We also believe in teaching life lessons through horsemanship -- the importance of kindness, respect, hard work, responsibility, honesty, discipline and leadership. We often say that we work with God's grandest creatures: His children and His horses. Our highly-trained, friendly staff, along with our horses, would love to meet you! more

Great place for young people and older as well 2/21/2012

The staff of Cash Lovell Stables are a very caring group of people! They always go the extra step to help everyone. The children not only learn to ride in a safe environment, but they also learn to respect everyone and respect the animals. The cost of lessons are very reasonable. There is a wonderful Little Bits Club that all children are welcome to come to and they learn about the safety of being around horses and also they have fund raisers for different charity groups. They have collect donations for Make a Wish, Ronald McDonald House and just this year they raised over $10,000 for St. Judes Foundation. There are few places where children have fun, learn a wonderful sport and the parents know they are safe. Also there are great summer camps for all ages . This stable is a win, win place! When you call to schedule a lesson or to cancel a lesson the staff is always willing to find a time that will be convenient for you to bring the student. They have a program for children who are intersted in showing, but not everyone wants to show and this is alright. If you want to show the staff goes the extra step to help you. They have a program where you can purchase clothing from consighment items or if you have showed and wish to sell the items you can do this as well. When you go to the shows there are people there to do the riders hair, make sure the clothing looks great, gloves taped, boots taped, people taking care of the horses and they have them ready to ride, someone with the riders at all times and parents helping everyone in every way. When you come to the office, for what ever reason, you are always treated warmly, there is always someone there to help you, dogs to pet and a rabbit to love. Each person is special and each one is carried for one on one. This is a truly special place for young and old alike. more

Not worth your time & money! 11/10/2011

The people that work there are very snobby and are never helpful when you have a question. I called & e-mailed several times about a question I had. I heard her in the back ground saying she would to call back, again. Not to mention how much money it costs and my daughter was never nor I was talked to about riding in shows. Her dream is to show and I am thankful we switch to a different barn that is willing to help when we have questions. My advise, don't waste your time at Cash Lovell Stables! more

Birthday Party & Summer Camp Were Fantastic! 1/10/2011

We were invited to a friend's birthday party last year at Cash Lovell Stables -- and my kids fell in love with it! The party was well organized and the children had a blast playing games, riding the horses and grooming a very cute pony named Jesse James. After the party, free riding lesson coupons were given out to all the participants. My children took their free lesson, signed up for summer camp and now ride with a group once a week! I would highly recommend CLS to children, teenagers and adults that want to learn how to ride horses. They are the best in Winston-Salem! more

Wholesome, Family-Friendly Environment 4/12/2010

Our family has been riding at Cash Lovell Stables for over five years now. Our children love going to the barn to either take riding lessons, help groom horses, attend their youth club meetings, participate in summer and winter camps, go to birthday parties or just be with their friends. We would highly recommend this barn to anyone who wants to be a part of a family-friendly environment with professional horse trainers and instructors that you can trust. best local place for riding lessons 5/6/2009

We are big fans of Cash Lovell Riding Stables. My girls have taken riding lessons there for almost 5 years. We love the owners, the great horses and our instructor Kathryn. If you're looking for a barn where your kids will learn some ""horse sense"" and have a blast -- we would highly recommend Cash Lovell Stables.
