Cascade Distributing - WORST place to do business 1/13/2012

This dealership provides in house financing. Because of that fact, this dealership ""feels"" it is their right to be ugly and nasty to their customers. Lisa --- oh my --- how do you define someone who gets such pleasure out of belittling other people? Does it make her feel superior or something? I understand she's got assets to protect and they are in business to make a profit. They double the price of their RV's because they know they can get it. I would assume that many of their customers live in their RV's and FEW buy them for recreational purposes. Look inside their building and you will see RV supplies that have been sitting there for 10 years. I imagine that any hoses they carry are dry rotted by now. Dust covers EVERYTHING. David, the sales guy, has obviously flunked out at everything else he's tried to do in his life. I have a feeling that GranPOP ""Bud"" supports him and in trade David has to be the only pretty thing to look at on the lot. His sales and customer service skills leave something to be desired. Stick to the modeling Dave. Maybe you'll land ""the big one"" soon --- oh, and Dave, don't take customer service lessons from your sister or else you'll be stuck at Bud's RV for the rest of your life. Customers? Buy at your own risk. Know that you're paying double of what the RV is worth and that if you don't make payments on time, this place will resort to old fashioned measures to protect their interest. If you're desperate - go for it, but for me? I'd live in a cardboard box before I did business here. (and no, I did not buy an RV here nor would I after knowing someone who did). more

RVers - do not buy from Bud's/Cascade Distributing 8/16/2011

Horrible business. Liars, scammers, and taking advantage of people who cannot get regular loans from good institutions for whatever reason. Their pretext on their website as a quaint Mom and Pop business with after purchase great service is extremely misleading. We are good people, and were attracted to their inhouse financing ad only because I have large law school loans, and although our bank will loan us money for cars and homes, we cannot get loans for ""toys"" i.e. boats and RVs. So, we went to Bud's. Really a bad mistake. They did not fulfill their promise of detailing out the RV, or checking out all working parts, and then gave us hell over a couple of tiny pieces of information missing from the 10 personal references we had to produce that we did not have on hand the day we drove three and a half hours to buy a $24,000 fifth wheel, which we put $6,000 down on. Then, the nasty book-keeper refused to submit in a timely fashion the registration paperwork so we could use our RV. Then, they told us that we could not live in it, or travel in it out of state, so what is the point in buying a fifth wheel from them if you cannot use it how they are meant to be used? I went into my credit union in tears yesterday, begging them for help and to refinance us so we would no longer be under Cascade Distributing/Bud's thumb, and they did. Thank God. I also have other ways of dealing with them, if anyone needs tips, let me know. more

Holes in Floors and Walls 5/27/2010

A friend of mine traded in her perfectly good, but small, 5th wheel (that she lives in) for a larger one from ""Go to Bud's Rv"" (same place) and they were even nice enough to finance it for her. She got it home and found that all the new mirrors were put in place to hide wall rot. She followed that to new sheetmetal plates that were screwed into the floor, under the carpet, to cover up 12"" rotted holes throughout the floor. When contacted they denied knowing this???? An employee told me its common practice. I have insurance, but the check came in both of our names (they are the lienholder) and they refuse to sign it over so I can have the work done by a more reputable place. They said they would just put caulking and tape on everything, so I wanted a ""Real"" repair shop to fix it. They refuse to talk to me and refuse to help. Stay Away! If you bought something here. Check all your walls and use a magnet to check your carpet. Can anyone say insurance fraud?..Oh, yah, the Attorney Genral can!!!!!!! Pros: None! None! None! Cons: Liars, Rude, Scammers!!!!!! more
