MAS MARGARITAS! I came upon this place cause my boyfirnd and I were crazing some margaritas and since we were in the area and I had heard about it from work we decided to stop by....

Worst

I've been to this restaurant a couple of times and both times the service was really slow. The waiters take a real long time to come back and check on you. The plates are overpric...

Great Mariachi! 1/14/2008

Im a big fan of new restaurants and this one took me by suprise. You defenitly dont expect to find a restaurant like this on the West Side. Very upscale, MEXICAN restaurant. You dont see that every day. They have these amazing portraits of "im guessing " Mariachi Singers? I should have asked. But the paintings are amazing. The food was good. It took a while to get to our table but who can complain when you have an amazing mariachi band playing. I had the mojito with my rib eye....which isnt mexican food but damn was it good. The Service was good too. I think my servers name was Sergio? overall this place is a treat. The patio looks amazing. Once it gets a little warmer i might swing by with my girl. Pros: great Mariachi Cons: very busy more

Best everything over all! 1/10/2008

completely breath taking....the entrance to this restaurant is completely gorgeous! From the high cielings to the beautiful iron work. The hostess was very nice and even though i felt i wasnt dressed for such a nice place, she made me feel better by not acting snooty like they do at other restaurants. I had no Idea they had a mariachi band so I ws suprised when the 10 piece mariachi band came out, and wow....were they amazing! They were very classy mariachi band.....I sat there with my friends enjoying the beautiful place with the gret music.....i swear I felt like i was in cancun again.....This place is a gem....there is nothing like it.....not even in mexico..... Pros: music!!! The Sole filet and the millionaire margarita!!! Cons: dress to impress more

Casa Sanchez 12/21/2007

Located in Mar Vista, valet parking, great decor, food, service, and enterainment. Way out of the norm for the neighborhood. You will feel like you're dining in Beverly Hills. The mariachi band is very classy, I felt like I was in Cabo again. Pros: full service at the bar with a great view of the entertainment Cons: make reservations more

Authentic Mexican Food 11/6/2007

If you love the Hacienda style, dimmed lights and live mariachi band this is defintaely the place to be. My first time going and the impression they gave me was an A++++. The owner is there and greets you. Looks like its very family oriented. Will go back for sure!!! Highly recommended!!! Pros: Great food, music, valet available Cons: None more

  • You'd never know it from the peaceful hacienda-style exterior (except maybe on weekend evenings when the parking lot is jammed), but Casa Sanchez keeps things hoppin' on this fairly quiet stretch of Centinela. Inside, live music fills the space as the aroma of tequila-grilled salmon, chile poblanos drizzled in brandy rose cream, chocolatey mole enchiladas and other Mexican delicacies waft through the air. Aside from a handful of small tables and booths along the walls, the spacious main dining room is lined with long group tables that promise a good view of the stage where mariachis play Thursday through Sunday evening. (Live jazz and piano on other nights.) There is also a charming outdoor patio for al fresco dining as well as a private upstairs room for those who prefer to celebrate with less fanfare.
