I love this place. I am a regular customer. The top shelf margarita is worth every penny and the best seafood nachos ever. Service is excellent, reasonably priced and authentic food. Cannot beat it. more

2nd to none in the bi-state area! 9/21/2008

I consider myself a mexican food connoisseur and Casa Ramero in East Alton is a MUST EAT establishment. Although the best mexican food I have ever had is at Santos in Houston, TX I can honestly say that Casa Ramero is right up there with the best in the country and certainly THE best in the St. Louis area (fantastic service as well). Pros: Large selection Cons: They appear to be out growing their building, a little too small. more

what a place 2/15/2006

not only get food but get service i felt very relaxed and somewhere i would go back to all the time. They also have smooth margaritas Pros: cheap, fun, relaxing more

i visit casa romero quite often. I think that the whole staff goes fare out of the way, to make sure you are well taken care of. I would not ever think of going to another mexican restaurant!!!!!!!!! Pros: service, drinks, food more

Great Authentic Mexican Food 5/22/2004

Casa Romero has the great atmosphere of Mexico, with it's stucco colored stone outside, and it's colorful stone walls inside. The service is second to none: fast and extremely friendly. The menu is huge, and the prices are unbeatable. Definitely the best ""bang for your buck"" in all of St. Louis...there's no other Mexican restuarant in St. Louis that combines atmosphere, menu, service, and value in a family owned restuarant. Pros: Inexpensive, Service, Excellent food more

Casa Romero 1/12/2004

This is by far the best Mexican food I have found in the mid-west. I live downtown but I still make the trip once or twice a month just to eat here. The decor isn't fancy but the food and service are 110%. Pros: Excelent Food, Inexpensive, attentive staff Cons: bar decor more
