We ordered our meal and my sister had gotten the chicken ajillo. It sounded great so my sister choice that as her meal. When the dish came out the chicken was dry and the garlic was obviously burnt. So we called our waiter over and asked if she can order a steak instead. We expressed the fact that we were not angry and we fully offered to pay for an entirely separate meal, it was just she did not like the flavor. We didn't want to make a big deal out of it and wanted to be as courteous as possible. The waiter was very receptive and went in the back with the dish. About 5 minutes later, there was a gathering of waiters and waitresses in the back surrounding another woman(later found out it was the owner), she was pointing to our table and staring directly at us. She then proceeded to walk over with the chicken the waiter had taken away and had the AUDACITY to walk right up to my sister and repremand her for returning the dish. My sister was shocked and embarassed. We tried to explain we would pay for both like we had told the waiter but she continued to tell us she is not bringing another dish out if my sister would return that as well. All this while practically wagging her finger at my sister like she was a child (my siter is 30). She leaves and when the steak finally came out my sister had asked for medium and it was COMPLETELY RAW inside. As so not to provoke any more confrontation and embarassment, she graciously ate the ends that were cooked. From the very moment we had sent back the first dish, we were glared and and spoken about by the wait staff and the woman owner. I don't speak spanish fluintly but there are some words that I do understand and they were not polite. So all in all I would honestly say the majority of our meal was very good, but the owner and customer service was attrocious. Too bad a good restaurant like that needs to be run by someone who feels they can treat people like that.
