My daughter had the unfortunate experience of renting an apartment at Casa De Paz Apartments located at 3505 Bridgeford Land, Modesto, Ca. During my visits with her, I observed some of the residents and/or their visitors smoking joints in front of their apartments or in the residents parking area, also blocking others car in when there were plenty of visitors parking. Loud music playing, all hours of the night and day, from both the apartments and drive way behind her apartment, which was intended for service vehicles use only. Unsupervised children running around knocking on her door and running away. Upstairs neighbors that let their kid/kids run and jump from 7:30am until he/she collapsed. The adults were not any better; they would stoop and throw things on the floor all hours of the day and night, (no consideration for anyone).\r
Management gives the delusion moving into the complex that it is a nice, peaceful environment and that they’re willing to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Well, when my daughter brought the issues up, especially about the above problems with the upstairs tenants, the management comment was, I quote “As the managers, what do you expect us to do?"".(I was there when she made the complaint to the managers). I guess this is the treatment the tenants who pay their rents on time and do not disturb their neighbors get? One last important aspect, be very, very careful with the managers once you give your 30 day notice. They will try to get you to sign a legal document that has entirely nothing to do with your 30 day notice or your final walk thru paper work. Final note, I was there and my oldest daughter was there during the final walk out process, these are people I would not personally or professionally want to deal with period.
Pros: Daughter 's apartment was not broken into
Cons: Can't list enough
