Let's go to the pumpkin patch and for a hayride 9/27/2006

Every year we take our kids to the pumpkin patch at Carver Farms. My kids are lucky enough and actually get to go twice each year. Once during the week on a field trip with the other cousins here and then once on a weekend, just us as a family. We get to go on a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch and then the kids each get to choose a pumpkin to take home. There is also a small maze to enjoy as well. Hot cocoa and apple cider is always a special treat for the kids while we are there too! Carver Farms also has free weekend hayrides to its pumpkin patch. more

pick your own 5/7/2006

Carver Farms is located 1/2 mile north of Trent on Idaho Road in Newman Lake. It is family owned and operated and is a 120 acre pick your own veggies and fruits farm during the peak seasons. In the fall you can go out into the pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkins and in winter you can pick your own Christmas tree! They even have hay rides in the fall and winter for you to enjoy as well! It really is a fun outing with the kids! more
