They are very friendly and can offer up suggestions that you would have never thought of. Worth the drive even if you are not near Smyrna. more

Carvel has come to Smyrna. I have had the best experience dropping in and picking out one of their pre-prepared cakes. They can ice whatever you'd like on the top of the cake while you wait. They are great to pick up for a little congrats gift and for birthdays. You can also get coupons from the valu-pack mailings. more

Wonderful Soft Serve...and Service 3/22/2006

Carvel, mostly known for it's homemade soft serve, is a staple in the Northeast. Now Atlantans can enjoy it as well. Besides the soft serve, you can try packed ice cream, ice cream cakes and treats, and an array of shakes and malts. The location in Vinings/Smyrna is easily accessible, and the benches make for great ice cream outings on a summer evening. You can beat the service either. The employees are friendly and knowledgable about great ice cream combinations. For special attention, ask for the owner, Murray. more
