Everyone's comfortable here 8/27/2010

Carter Barnes Paces is the perfect salon - its' low-key, neighborhood-like setting and friendly atmosphere houses a group of highly-skilled, yet human and unpretentious salon professionals. I've been coming here for years and have appreciated and enjoyed the honest and caring advice and treatment. They make me feel like a client - listening to my needs, rather than like a source of revenue. I also bring my teenage daughter here for haircuts, which she finds sylish and I find age-appropriate. I've watched clients of all ages and genders come through the doors of the salon over the years - each looking as comfortable as I feel when I'm here. more

Jackie aka ""the color goddess"" rocks! 8/26/2010

3 years ago I was delivering a cake to the salon and ran into Jackie, who was coloring someone's hair and doing an amazing job. The color she was doing was blond and it was so natural looking and beautiful. I am a stage 4 cancer survivor and had dark hair which was making me look sicker than I felt. I had been toying with going blond but was nervous about how it would look and the upkeep. Jackie squelched all my fears and turned me into a natural looking blond. I get compliments everyday on how good I look and no one even believes I even have cancer. My daughter who also gets her haircut at the salon, tells me I should never go back to dark hair. I have been going there for 3 years and always run into a lot of the same people. I think that speaks alot about the quality of service you get -starting with the complimentary valet parking to everyone who works inside. Everyone there is like a big family. I keep a list of their birthdays and surprise each of them with cupcakes. It is never a ""chore"" to have to get my color done, but rather morning out with coffee and old friends and you never know who will pop in. more

A love affair with hair 8/25/2010

I have never had more people tell me how nice my hair looks than NOW. For the longest time, I couldn't seem to let the length get past the bob stage, and I was so desirous to have longer, lustrous hair. Well, now I have it. more

I have been a client at Carter Barnes on Paces since 2004. I have been seeing the same stylist, Elizabeth Giordano since I have been a client at the salon. As everyone knows, a great stylist can be hard to come by and if you find one, you stick with them! more

Best Salon in Atlanta! 8/24/2010

There is a reason they call her the ""Color Godess"". She will make you look amazing. Jackie Stewart is the best colorist I have ever used. Jackie has been coloring my hair since I arrived in Atlanta 10 years ago. I recommend her to everyone, because I know you will be thrilled with the results. I also have my hair cut and styled at Carter Barnes Paces by Guinette. My hair is very curly and fine and she always makes me look great, and teaches me how to style it when I am home. I can't say enought about the team at Carter Barnes Paces. The all work together to make you look and feel great! more

Best Salon In Atlanta 8/21/2010

Jackie Stewart is the best colorist in Atlanta. I've been seeing her for years and used to drive 5 hours to Atlanta just to have her do my color. If anyone is looking for a great person come see Jackie at Carter Barnes because she's the best! Also, if you're looking for a haircut or style for a certian event- Teresa at Carter Barnes will do an awesome job and exactly what you asked for (so you don't leave the salon with any unexpected surprises!). more

When i first went to Carter Barnes at Paces Ferry over 7 years ago, I realized I'd found THE salon for me. From the moment I walked in, it was like being among friends. Everyone is so nice, professional and focused on making clients look good. Jackie does the most natural looking highlights I've ever seen! I've brought friends visiting from overseas and always have a great experience. more

So when you first walk into Cater Barnes, they greet you right away. I love the atmosphere. Immediately it felt like I had been coming my whole life. Ever stylist is personable. They want to take care of your hair. They want you to feel good about your hair and they won't stop until you do. more

Carter Barnes - Best Salon in Atlanta 8/13/2010

I originally was a client of the Phipps Plaza location and while I liked the services, I didn't like going to the mall. I was very happy when Carter Barnes opened the Paces Ferry location. The salon is frequently busy, but there is always ample parking. more

There is so much to say about my experience at CB! I have been coming here since 1992. What sealed the deal was beng referred to Jackie (the Color Goddess) for my highlights. I consider her to be among the best in Atlanta, possibly the universe! I have always gotten compliments on my hair, even from other colorists. Jackie is not only exceptional and professional at her job, but she makes me laugh and enjoy coming for ""hair day"". Plus, the atmosphere at CB is family-like. Everyone works well together and there is an easy cameraderie among them. Love coming here! more

Carter barnes paces is has consistant service and quality. Front desk workers are helpful and friendly. There Products are top of the line. salon has an upscale yet casual feel. Jacklyn Stewart is the color specialist and is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and consistant . She is a perfectionist and that is what i like most in a stylist. I am a loyal follower and have been for 10 years. I live 5 hours away and it is always worth the drive. more

CAN'T GET ENOUGH !! 8/13/2010

Every time i go there even if my day started bad, it ends up turning out great after my hair treatment. Carter.Barnes has a great blend of personalities and service that is just excellent. I drive 2 hrs from my home to go there because nothing else or no body else does it better. I enjoy the laughter's with Jacky and Corey, and walking out looking and feeling like a million bucks ;O). This is the only place I'll trust someone and anyone there with my hair. They are simple the best. more

Jackie Stewart at Carter Barnes on Paces is a fantastic colorist! She truly is the ""Color Goddess."" Moving here from California many years ago, I tried salon after salon to get my particular ""believable"" golden blonde. I would walk out of a salon either (1) orange or (2) platinum blonde. UGH! Jackie listened to me, and like it was no big deal, gave me exactly what I wanted the first time! I love the salon, the friendly and classy staff, and just the overall feel of the place. Pay attention ladies, this is the colorist you have been looking for! Did I mention she is good-natured, funny and smart? Go for it, you'll be thankful you did! more

Amazing Service and Amazing Results.. I finally love my hair 2/17/2010

For over 10 years I have been going to Jackie Stewart aka The Color Goddess for highlights. Jackie is amazing and my color has never looked better. I first came to see her my freshman year in college when my color need some major TLC. My blonde highlights were really brassy and within 2 visits Jackie had turned my brassy blond to a beautiful golden blonde. I have received tons of compliments ever since and just wanted to reach out to those wondering where to turn to if they are in need of some color TLC! Thanks Jackie love ya!! more
