This review is strictly for the Westfield/Fox Valley Mall Carsons. Never, ever try to use the senior/disabled discount there unless you are older than dirt or in a wheelchair. Their Senior Day adds clearly state the sale price is for anyone who is a senior or disabled. I even called Carson's to be sure about the disabled part. I am considered completely disabled due to severe rheumatoid arthritis. I even have the handicapped parking placard to prove it, which came in handy since they made me walk back to my car, take it out and then risking the chance of getting a ticket since my placard was not displayed, and then showing it to the rude employees just to prove that I am disabled. As if the limping and curved fingers were not enough! Granted, I look young for my age (I am "about" 35), but I have also taken my 90 year old grandmother there and she had to show ID for the discount as well. She looks young for her age as well, but she does look at least 70!!! I could understand the scrutiny if I was buying a lot of things, but I used to buy just towels and some clothes there.
