Carson-Newman is an ok place to send your children if you trust them to conduct their lives according to the way you raised them. There just isn't a lot of supervision here.People are expected to behave as adults, problem is,they're often very young. The curriculum there ican be tough, but people have been to share answers on tests.Education is somewhat liberal, even though it bills itself as a Christian college. There are plusses to Carson-Newman,but obvious minuses also.
PROS: conveniently located if you live here
CONS: too unsupervised if you're away from home
