UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE 4/25/2013

Not only was there response time incredibly slow, the workmen who came to our house were incredibly rude and disrespectful.\r The IQ of the people working here must be less than that of the average plumber, it took 3 days of coming over to my house to fix a problem that was far from complicated. Did a lot more talking than working more

Fast response, Friendly, Professional Service 9/19/2010

After realizing after hours that our plumbing problem wouldn't wait until the next day, we contacted Carson Plumbing. The lady who took the call was very polite and had someone call back in just a few minutes. This gentleman offered a possible fix that would allow us to wait until the next morning (to avoid after hour rates). Unfortunately, it didn't work out so they sent a plumber who went right to work and did a great job.\r \r I was very pleased with the service and the attitudes. Everyone we had contact with from this company treated us like they appreciated our business. more

Carson is fab! 7/15/2010

Great service. Very professional. They do want to know the extent of work to be done ahead of time, so they can keep their appointments on target, so try not to ask for any last minute repairs on site. They clean up their work area so nicely and explain repairs to you completely. Worth every cent, plus they are truly reasonable compared to most. more

We have used Carson Plumbing since moving to Athens 10 years ago. They are reliable and professional - they will even show you how to fix it yourself the next time! They also leave the work area spotless. more

They are unbeatable! 1/31/2008

I called in a big chain to fix a clog. Not only did Mr. "big chain" not fix it, they told me they had to tear the house apart and quoted me $900! Carson came in, fixed the clog, and found a leak and replaced a vent pipe all for $276, without having to tear up anything. These guys are top notch and I highly recommend them!\r \r Mike Dixon\r Landlord more

The Gentlemen that came to the house were very professional. Took off boots when the entered house not to soil floors. They knew their trade and were very courteous. I highly recommend Carson Plumbing. Will use again! more

Carson plumbing is a GREAT business. They are very prompt and great at what they do. They are a great deal and they specialize in plumbing things. Their special because of their friendliness and they are attractive...somewhat especially steve. I fully recommend them. more

  • Carson Plumbing was started by Chuck Carson in 1982. Now an established Athens, Ga plumbing business, it was originally run out of his house with his lovely wife Penny doing much of the "office" work on the kitchen table. Things quickly took off for Chuck and he quickly went from hiring assistants to purchasing more trucks and equipment as needed. Finally the company outgrew the house and Mr. Carson purchased the land that the business now sits on at 259 Wynburn Ave in Athens.

    In 1989 a lightning fire destroyed the old wooden structure and a new building was erected. The company has been operating out of this new home ever since. In February, 2008, Chuck Carson sold his well established business to two of his sons, Josh and Pete Carson. These new stewards of the business have striven to maintain the same honest and courteous business relationship with their customers and the community as they were taught by their father growing up. Carson Plumbing is managed by Mike McCain who has been with the company since 1986..
