I love the Brazilian theme and the salad bar is to die for. So many unique dishes to choose from the salad bar. The meats that they bring around to your table when you give them the green "light" to go are all delectable and mouth watering. We frequent this place quite often and reservations are recommended. They do have early bird prices on lunch and dinner if you want to save a few dollars. more

  • The Scene
    Couples and families, many of them Brazilian, crowd a neutral-colored dining room to see just how much meat they can handle. Fake plants contribute to the all-you-can-eat feel and make Carro a little less swanky than other area churrascarias. Friendly, apron-clad servers parade through the dining room with meat on skewers as diners flash cards--red on one side, green on the other--to indicate when they're ready for more food.

    The Food
    Beef, pork, sausage, chicken and more are at your beck and call. Tender filet mignon and a rich parmesan pork loin are the most likely candidates for seconds--and thirds. Try the tasty fried bananas as a side dish. An extensive salad bar--where variety seems to trump freshness--offers everything from hearts of palm to black beans and rice to mussels. For dessert, don't miss the refreshing papaya ice cream.
