My story at Western Career College:\r
At this school, I have met many instructors who are more than willing to help me achieve my goals and make sure that I accomplish what I came to the school to accomplish. I am going to tell you a little about each person that I have dealt with and the impact that the person has had on me during my attendance at this school.\r
The first person that I want to talk about is Mrs. Nguyen. She was my instructor at the beginning of my school year. She is the Program Director for the Pharmacy Technology program. She had a huge impact upon the way that I have viewed the program. She taught everyone in my class what the program was about and she made sure that she explained things very clearly and made sure that we asked any questions that we needed to. She has an open door policy and makes sure that she takes her time to answer any and all questions that we as students may have, to make sure that we accomplish our goals and that everyone who tries to complete the program is able to succeed and given the best results.\r
The second person that I met was Ms. Cha. When you are in her class and she is teaching you she also talks about things that can occur in the workplace. She adds additional information that is necessary for a person to understand what it is that they are learning about. She tries to make the information as interesting as possible so that you are able to retain the information that is being taught.\r
The third person that I want to introduce is Mr. Matsomoto. He is a person that you grow accustomed to. He makes sure that you do your work and if you have any questions he is more than willing to help you out. He has his own personality and he grows on you in a positive way.\r
The last person, who is my current teacher is Mr. Koss. He was hired to take the mid-eve class that I am currently in. It is interesting to see how he has come so far from when he first started. We as a class have grown together and we have learned a lot about each other. It is very interesting when you see each person as an instructor and what they each can teach you.\r
The key point to the program is that everyone is willing to help you if you need the help. They listen to you and they try to make sure that you are the one who will succeed. They all offer the support of a teaching staff but they also let you know what to expect when you get to the field. They try to make all of the efforts that they can to make sure that each student is a success. Of course there are always exceptions because no matter what you do for a student they do not always succeed. Since I have started the class there has been a high success rate with the majority of the students who want to accomplish and do the best that they can to make sure that they can succeed. The most important thing that I learned from the teachers is do not be afraid to ask questions. All of the teachers in the program are more than willing to answer any and all questions that you have for them. If they do not know the answer, they will look up the information and get back to you with the answer. All of us together make the program a success and we learn with each other and we grow. The program is always expanding and changing to meet today’s needs and that is the most important thing that any program can expect to meet. \r
Pros: Great Instructors
