Carriage Crossing Restaurant has some of the best food ive ever tasted in my life! \r At Carriage Crossing you will experience homestyle cooking, homemade pie and warm bread made daily, excellent service and a warm atmosphere. It will make you want to come back time and time again.\r When i walked in i noticed the dining area was quite big, i asked a manager how many the restaruant seated and he answered with around 268... which is wonderful for big groups. They also have a family style meal, you can order your choice of meat and it comes with corn and greenbeans, homemade bread, mashed potatoes, gravy, and your choice of pie. The best part of the Family Style meal is that it's all you can eat. It doesn't take long at all for your food to come out, and the service...flawless. A deep fried ""randy steak"" is not what I picture when I think of a chicken-fried steak, but that is what I got when I ordered the country fried steak at carriage crossing. Also, the salad lettuce looked like it had been prepared in the morning, the gravy on the steak was slightly yellow, and the baked potato tasted microwaved. My mother ordered the catfish and said there was so little meat on it she couldn't help wondering if it had been filleted first. The service was ok for as busy as they were but I do find it interesting that our tea was refilled around the time we got our food but the girl didn't come back to the table again until after we finished eating.
