They have handled properties for me in the past. There is no customer service and no followup after I have voiced concerns. Things charged me for things that should have been charged to the renter. We asked for no pets but every renter has had pets and one tore the carpet. The repair was on my dime since they returned the deposit to the renter before knowing the damage. They are the worst. more

DO NOT RENT 12/30/2010

All of the previous reviews were left in 2005... that must have been a good year because now, Carolina Real Estate cannot be described as friendly or professional. I have rented from them for over a year now and I am fed up with their service, or lack there of. I will NOT be renewing my lease. The people are lazy and mean, and make you feel like you are constantly at fault every time you call for work to be done. They have done little to no maintenance on my apartment since 2007. The people at the office are so disrespectful it's appalling. DO NOT use Carolina Real Estate, unless you want to shell out a ton of money for poor service and dishonesty. more

Excellent Agents 7/12/2005

The real estate agents at Carolina Real Estate handle their clients with respect and care. Even college students receive great service from these agents. Last year, my roommates and I signed a lease for the next Fall at an apartment complex. Not a week later, the complex burned to the ground. The next morning, at 8AM, Carolina Real Estate called us to report that our deposits would be returned and our contracts would be voided. I was very impressed with their promptness and professionalism. more

Very friendly and helpful! 6/27/2005

Carolina Real Estate is a great rental agency to rent from. I rented from them for 2 years. Every time I had a problem they just came right on out to fix it. They even provided a shower curtain and rod for the bathrooms. We had a leak in one of our upstairs bathrooms which was leaking intot he kitchen and a repair man was sent out the same day. We had trouble locking our dishwasher (it wouldn't run until it was locked) and someone came out to show us what we were doing wrong very quickly. I always found the agents and repairment they sent to be very helpful and friendly no matter what. If you are planning to rent be sure to check out Carolina Real Estate's properties. more
