Awful Quality and Poor Customer Relations 8/9/2011

Carolina Graphic Press was very attentive when they were trying to get our business. They were Johnny on the Spot answering emailed questions and returning phone calls. We received the proof and everything looked good. Our product labels were delivered to our bottling company. When we went to pick up our products the labels were of very poor graphic quality. They looked like somebody put a sephia filter over the graphic. Everything looked brownish. This was NOT how it looked on the proof or we would not have approved it. We immediately called. They promised to fix it. They played with it for several weeks. We needed the labels for another run. We called our salesperson and emailed him numerous times and our once attentive salesperson was not to be found. We called and left messages and still nothing. We then get a text message from him that he has overnighted another proof for us to look at. I messaged back that we were out of town in San Diego so unless he sent it to San Diego then we wouldn't get it in the morning. I then received another text advising me that they would no longer work for us. They would not fix the labels that were already screwed up and so very sorry that they left us in a bind. We had to bottle our next shipment without any labels and then find another label company, have labels made and delivered and pay a re-run fee to our bottler in order to apply the labels. Carolina Graphic Press not only produced poor quality product, they didn't correct their errors, left us hanging without any labels and now are refusing to refund all of our money. They say they are keeping $350 for the labels we used and didn't return. We only paid $.12/label used 965 labels (remember they were VERY POOR QUALITY)which amounts for maybe $150 not $350. However that $.12/labels was supposed to be for quality product. Their salesperson promised us that they were a professional company and did excellent work. WOW I'd hate to see an unprofessional company! more

If you aren't a big customer, don't bother. 4/26/2007

They were very attentive for the first couple of orders. As time passed, they became incredibly sloppy with their design work and made promisses about deadlines that they couldn't keep. Pros: They have a printing press on site. Cons: They must take direct orders for everything- there is no creativity or eye for editing. more
