Best BBQ in and around Augusta GA. 6/20/2007

OK. So drive the 20 miles to New Ellenton SC to get great BBQ. No it ain't a 5 star place.( the BBQ is 5 star) Simply put, this is the best BBQ around Augusta.I drive there 1 or 2 times per month to fill up on high test BBQ. The other times I fill up with regular BBQ, here in Augusta. I LIKE BBQ. Now the Best BBQ is at McLards in Hot Springs Arkansas, However that is 900 miles, each way. I ain't moving to Arkansas, just to eat there. Carolina BBQ is good enough for me. more

The Best Barbecue in the CSRA 12/22/2005

Everybody in the CSRA argues about who has the best hash and barbecue in the area. I am not really big on it myself, but my family swears by Carolina Bar-b-que (as they spell it). The pork and chicken are both great, and the sauces are to die for. It it located outside of the city of Aiken in New Ellenton, but it is worth the short drive. If it is a holiday, order by phone, so you are assured they have the meals available. Enjoy! more
