I wondered if Carole's would be too expensive when I saw their showroom and all the options they had---way more choices than Home Depot and Lowe's. I got an estimate just to see, and it turns out my new kitchen was well within my limited budget and I worked with an excellent designer who understood what I wanted style-wise. He helped me make a few changes along the way and was very patient and also recommended layout ideas that made a huge difference to the functionality of the space we had to work with (which was somewhat challenging). They also were able to incorporate some elements that we love and use every day such as the cabinet lighting, dividers in the drawers for utensils, and rollouts in the cabinets. The people who work there were very helpful and friendly whenever I called. The difference I noticed is they help educate you about the different cabinet brands and types of countertops and walk you through options, rather than when I was at Home Depot where they just plugged in my room measurements, printed out a design and sent me on my way. The expertise is at a much higher level at Carole's ...we are very happy with the final results. The other factor is that someday we do plan to move to a bigger house and the designer helped us make choices that would pay off when we sell our current house so that we get the best return on our investment.
Pros: More displays than I saw anwhere else, Helpful people
Cons: Was not open Sunday so we had to go on weeknights
