Carmike Theater 4/12/2006

Carmike Theater is located along the expressway between Edinburg and McAllen. This movie theater is the best one in the McAllen/Edinburg area. You don’t get as many high school aged individuals hanging out at this theater. This movie theater also tends not to get as packed as some of the others in the area. Buying movie tickets and concessions are speedy because they always have multiple ticket and concession stations open. more

Nicest theater in Mcallen area! 3/30/2006

this theater is the nicest if you have to choose between edinburg and mcallen. it is newly built and decorated. you always get your ticket and concessions fast and usually the theaters are not packed so you don't have to sit right next to a stranger. their popcorn is okay but i prefer the cinemarks over the carmike. i wish that carmike owned the mcallen theater!! the only thing i don't like is the hallways are so dark and maze like that i always feel like i may get locked in for the night! more
