If you are like us, when you go to the theater, you gotta have popcorn. Carmike in Newnan has the *best* theater popcorn, made the old-fashioned way. Other than that, the theater is above average - nothing special, but there's nothing wrong with it either. Very comfortable and enjoyable. more

Best Theater In Newnan For Our Family and Friends 3/24/2007

It's not the newest theater, but it's still the preferred theater for us. When we go to see a movie, we *have* to have popcorn. It's just part of the whole theater experience for us. Newnan's Carmike Cinema still has the best popcorn. About half of the theaters have stadium seating, which is generally used for the newest movies. Even the theaters with standard seating are very acceptable. We're not audio-snobs, but Carmike's sound is clear and they run it at reasonable levels. Carmike recently upgraded to higher quality digital projectors and the difference is quite noticeable. Bottom line, for the best all-around theater in Newnan, we choose Carmike Cinemas. more

Carmike Theaters 4/16/2006

Carmike movie theaters in Newnan, GA is an older theater, but it is still good. They have matinees everyday before 6 pm. They have stadium style seating, so there is not a bad seat in the house. They have the usual concessions, and they are overpriced, but if you save money by going to the matinee, you can afford the extra treats. They run new movies, and they accept Debit cards at the box office. more

Go here for family fun for everyone. This theater offers buget matinees everyday if you go before 6 pm. The seats here are great as well and you don't have to worry about the guy in front of you being tall. No matter where you sit you can see the screen. The theater has THX and Digital Sound. They also accept Debit/ATM Cards At Both The Box-Office and Concession Stand! What a convience! more
