Both our sons and daughter played at CUSC but we moved our sons as unfortunately the boys junior coaching staff continues to witness a lot of turnover. We enjoyed the youth academy approach, as players were allowed to develop skill/passing technique in a supportive environment rather than being forced into rigid positional play before they had even developed their own soccer identities. The present focus appears to be mainly on Elite players rather than providing across-the-board team technical training. more

If you are looking for a club that takes their soccer serious, but not ridiculously over the top, CUSC is for you. The younger ages groups focus on skills NOT win at all cost. Coaches do not constantly yell like most other clubs and the only coaching that is done on the sidelines are words of encouragement. The kids are expected to take what they learn at practice and use it in the game so they must be confident and think for themselves. They continually put out very successful, Nationally acclaimed players as you will witness on their website. We have been happy so far and hope to enjoy many more years to come. Pros: great coaches, not over the top, great facilities, fun experience for the kids Cons: expensive, some parents no matter what, are over the top more
