There are many different peds to choose from at Carle Clinic. Dr. Melvin is by far one of the best. He has very specialized training. He really cares for his patients and always does thorough exams. It's never a 5 minutes to spare for you and then your out type thing. He listens to your concerns in all seriousness and advises accordingly. He is always very good with girls, which can sometimes be a concern having a male ped. I definitely recommend him and wish I could go back to him. My stepmother uses him for her 4 kids and he knows all of them by name and sight.
