avoid managment at all cost lol i see older posts from 2008, we used to have goo dmanagment Don , charles matt but now we have rude person at desk who never smils, greats you and help you at all more

The Carillon is a great place to live. The property manager made move-in easy and has been a great source of recommendations on local vets, carpet cleaners, etc. The apartment was clean and quiet - I hear my next-door neighbor's bathroom plumbing but otherwise I would think the surrounding apartments were empty. Management is constantly making improvements around the property. The apartment is cold in the winter but nothing a couple of space heaters can't handle. The few maintenance issues I have had have been resolved same-day. The urine/garbage/shrub people mentioned in the previous review - I have not experienced these things at the Carillon, although I used to see needles back by the dumpster. As a female who was to come and go at night for work, I have never felt unsafe here and would recommend it to a woman looking for a convenient, friendly, secure place to live. I thought it was bad enough that the entire apartment building reeks of urine, which probably explains the copious amount of flys which congragated outside the lobby daily. It also was unfortunate that there were about 3-4 homeless people living in our bushes and in our dumpsters constantly shreeking and yelling and making me fear my safety and spreading garbage around the entire property. Not to mention the used jimmy's that I found almost daily in front of my car in the parking lot. \r \r But after the fatal shooting in our lower parking lot in January 08, the real possiblilty of lead paint poisening, and the incredibly rude new property manager, I just want to warn others before they pay way to much to live in a very negative and unsafe living situation. \r \r If you value your mental and physical health I would stay far far away from this building!! more
