Went with a group of eight to try this restaurant this past weekend. Was a little concerned b/c it was pretty much empty on a Saturday night which was not a good indicator. There were only two other couples in the place at 7:45 pm. The waitress was sweet and friendly - offering many suggestions/recommendations. Since the group was ethnically diverse, she also pointed out those items that were more traditional. I went light with a Cuban sandwich, while others had the Ropas Viejas and Enchiladas Camerones (not your usual Mexican style enchilada at all!). Our plates were flying around the table as everyone was passing their dish to others to sample (yeah, we're like that). The food was very tasty and definitely a different experience for all of us. Only criticism on the food was that the Ropas Viejas could have been slow cooked a little longer to be truly melt-in-your-mouth tender. The mojitos (freshly made) and margaritas were also great. We didn't have any desserts, but did have some Cuban coffees which were as I remember them. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes. All in all, I found it to be very authentic, even reminiscent of some of my mom's cooking. Definite thumbs up!
Pros: Authentic Cuban Food, helpful attentive service, good drinks, clean and well lit
Cons: Strip Mall environment, limited parking, not really close to anything else
