CareView Community Church has a wonderful atmosphere and spirit of LOVE that is very difficult to find any where. The moment you step into the building, you can feel the love and the members welcome you as if they knew you for years.The word of God is preached to reach the oldest to the youngest. \r \r As on the show ""Cheers"", all different types are welcomed to come as you are and be who God made and called you to be. There is a LOVING Shepherd, Paul James that prays and hear from God on how to love each person in their own unique way. The Core Values of CareView Community Church are based on Isaiah 55:1-13 and they have motivated me and the other members “To Be A PEOPLE: in whom God lives; in whom the Word is alive; in whom there is missionary zeal; who are being healed and restored to God; in submission to the will and way of God; actively engaged in the work of God and daily experiencing the power of God. I have never been involved in a church so focused on my spiritual growth and my personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Where people are prioritized over programs and where Pastor James and the Pastoral Staff lead and live by example and disciple us into becoming all that God has created us to be. Where the Bible is clearly taught and is the foundation, authority and focus of everything we do and believe. I love CVCC and I’m thankful to God for bringing Pastor James and Pastor Chris into my life as my Shepherds. CareView is a place for those who are desperate to hear from God - people who are longing for a relationship with the true and living God. When the Lord sent me to this church, I was not looking for relationships with people, nice music or even good fellowship. I was looking for the Lord Jesus Christ. It is refreshing for me to be a part of a community where I am free to be me with my quirks and all. It's wonderful to be in the company of others that understand that none of us are perfect but we have the same goal in mind and that is to continue to strive to be all that Jesus wants us to be. It is wonderful being in a ministry where all of the leaders are of high quality and love the Lord. Pastors Paul and Christine James are leaders who definitely go the way and shows the way. They are not just talk they walk out before us everything they teach and preach. There is nothing phoney about these two they are the real deal. They have made such an impact on my life through the years by the way of prayer, encouraging words, and pure geninue love that I am and still becoming a great woman of God. After being a member of a couple of churches in the Philadelphia area, and then a member of a church in Delaware, CareView Community Church in Lansdowne, PA has been the ONLY church that embraced me at a time in my life where I felt all alone. Pastor Paul and his wife Christine James are living examples of what Christ requires of us. Under Pastor James's leadership I have finally found a shepherd who cares and loves deeply for the people he ministers to on a daily basis. After experiencing many disappointments at other churches, when I first visited CareView I was leary, but quickly learned and realized that the people of CVCC were full of compassion, love, and grace for the loss. I was a lost soul, and Pastor James and his leadership embraced me as I found my way back to the ONE who loves me in spite of me. Jesus Christ. CVCC has taught me how to love deeply and to be COURAGEOUS in my walk with HIM. I am proud to be a member of CareView Community Church and my family is a better loving, learning how to let people off the hook with GRACE, and to love in spite of family as a result. more
